Just my two cents here....

A while back, somebody over in the K1 forums decided to start these 'monthly' filers threads. I'm not so sure it's a great idea to do that over here in AOS. Too many variables.

I'm thinking this could cause a lot of people a lot of unneeded stress.

Naww no stressing here. I did all that during the waiver. Just curious is all. I know ours might take longer because of the RFE and I know about the fingerprints screwing with everyone. Nothing surprises me about this process anymore.

Now ask me toward the end of April or the beginning of May and I might be cussing like a sailor in here.

I think it is a good idea to track everyone's progress. Many of us would just love to hear about work authorization anyway. I would love for my husband to mingle with society in his new home and work. It is sad that he is stuck in the house staring at the wall!!:angry::angry:

We filed twice, the first time the kicked it out and rejected it because the papers were in the wrong order! We went to the Local USCIS office who reordered the papers and put response to RFE on a sticky. Got an NOA of Jan 15, then we got an RFE for the exact same question and resent everything all over again. Did the biometrics on Feb 8, now just waiting for the Interview on Apr 2. Haven't had either the EAD or AOS touched since Feb 9, even though we got the interview letter after.

Okey dokey!

After a few months of watching it you'll understand what I mean. AOS is pretty much all over the place. You really can't peg your progress by the date of your filing. Too many different district offices. But to each his own.

rebeccajo,

is the pittsburgh office known to be slow in processing the applications? i remember one time we discussed this on a different thread when I was asking about VJ memebers who went through the pitt office and you informed me that not alot of people adjust using that office (compared to others), so i was wondering since they do not handle the large amount of applications, why they are as slow as everyone else?

any thought?

I don't think they are slow. It's that other offices are catching up with them. Mostly because of the 'backlog' clearance effort being made by DHS. Historically, Pitt and some of the other offices which served a smaller immigrant population base interviewed petitioners MUCH sooner than - say, Atlanta.

Wow, so it seems like I'm not the only one....waiting, waiting, waiting.

Carshel, Darkchild and Billsgirl....I'm really hoping for movement on our EAD too...it would be nice for him to work, I know he gets bored at home :(

Together2love- Congratulations on your interview.....

Recbaccajo- we can track each other's progress, and also support each other. Through out the whole process I haven't stressed if other peoples petitions were approved before mine, I'm actually happy for them...we're all in this together.
