My family immigration file is now in process. It was filed on 20th march, 2003. Got approved on 7th August, 2009. My DOB is 12/29/1988. My father and mother already have filled the DS260 and are waiting to send the civil documents along with other AOS docs.

Will i be eligible under CSPA? If yes, how long will it take to get my name as an derivative applicant?

P.S. the priority date is now current date in December 2015 Visa bulletin. Kindly guide me through your expertise. Cheers.

The CSPA calculator you can find via Google indicates that you are considered 20 years and 6 months old under CSPA, so remain eligible.

You may want to double-check the I-130 filing and approval dates, as it staying pending for six years seems questionable.

Thanks for reverting back mate. The category is F4 (india) and so there is a lot of backlog in that category and maybe thats why it was pending for 6 years. I had calculated with the help of CSPA calculator. Do i need to contact the nvc to add the name or it will be added automatically? They hardly pick up the phone!

You should automatically be included for further processing under the principal's application.

Maybe. You may want to have the petitioner or the principal beneficiary contact the NVC and ask (they probably can't give any information to you).

I submitted my parents ds260 on 19th nov and yet to send the civil documents. My name is still not being added under theirs! So assuming they take 2-4 weeks to review, might get a call later for interview after that. And my case is still ambiguous.

we got our interview date a year after submitting the documents. it all depends on when the case becomes current

Yes. You would never get an appointment until your file is current. Our file is now current! So how long foes it take to get an interview date after its current mate?
