Hi all,

I just want to ask if what would be the possible outcome of the application of fiancee visa if I will be working presently in Macau then im holding only a working permit, So, I will be going back to philippines in order to do the process of Fiancee visa, would there be a possible problem to be trigger if thats the case?

Hope for the possible answers.

You should not have any problem. You can interview at the U.S. Embassy Manila.

You might want to get a police clearance before you leave Macau if you have been there for more than six months. You will need it at your interview in Maynila.

That shouldn't be an issue at all. Relax.

I agree get your police clearance before leaving.

Follow the embassy instructions letter for everything that is required. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/feb2015/K1-K2%20Applicant%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_February%202015_.pdf

a. OTHER COUNTRY POLICE CERTIFICATES. Applicants aged 16 years and older must also present
police certificates from other countries where they have lived for six (6) months or more after reaching
age 16. As with NBI clearances, foreign police certificates should be obtained in any maiden names,
aliases or nicknames used while in the country in question, including different spellings you have used of
those names. Country-specific information on how to secure police certificates is available on the State

If you are processing the visa application in Manila, here is a link to the Philippines forum http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

thank you for the comment. What if you been before in abroad just like 6yrs ago? would that be still questionable? because I came in dubai last 2008 then in denmark last 2012. When I was in dubai, I stay there for almost a year for work and i came back because I lay-off, then i denmark i stay for less than 3 mos. would it be trigger? and I already renew my passport. So, they cannot see any stamp for travel history

You can not get a police clearance from Dubia, they only issue the police clearance in person, so the embassy waivers the requirement for Dubia. For Denmark, you were only there for 3 months, a police clearance is not required. Must live in a foreign country for 6 months or more to need a police clearance.

As for stamps in your passport... everything is electronic, EVERYONE knows where you have been. ;) Not having stamps in your passport means little for knowing where you have been.

The Department of State lists Dubia (UAE) as a waiver country. All embassies are under the Department of State. Most COs should know this information, most, may be a stupid one around so not a back idea to print out the info from the link I provided.

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/AE.html

Police Records

Available, only if applicant is physically present in the UAE.

Police certificates may be obtained by any person, regardless of nationality, by personally appearing at the Central Police Headquarters located in the emirate of residence or former residence. When appearing to request a police certificate, the applicant should provide recent photographs, a letter from the requesting authority, the date of residence in the emirate, and their passport.

Not available by mail. Post recommends that consular officers waive the general requirement to obtain police certificates unless the applicant lives in the UAE.

The U.S. Embassy Manila will not require a police clearance for Dubai.

If for some strange and unknown reason they ask you about it, then simply give them the page from the link which explains that it is not required.

You should have no problem with this issue.

If the Embassy asks you for the I-134, they will want the original, not a copy. Lately, the Embassy has not been asking for the I-134 from K-1ers, but it is still listed as one of the required documents on their web site, so it's better to have it with you just in case.

I would advise your fiancé to send the I-134 via a private carrier such as FedEx because it will get there, and it will get there much faster. The USPS turns over the mail to PhilPost in Manila, and PhilPost is unreliable.
