In the instructions it states a copy of my birth certificate front and back. My certificate only had a front and the back was blank. I called the county records office and they said the same for the original. I sent in my application with just a copy of the front side. Did í make a mistake? Will í recieve a RFE? Its too late now but i am nervous about a delay in the process.

Many birth certificates have a small number on the back or sometimes a watermark that helps prove it's legitimacy.

I'm assuming they add the "front and back" part for people who do have some sort of barely noticeable feature on theirs to keep them from overlooking it.

But birth certificates can vary by state and county so if yours is truly blank I can't see it being an issue..
