wow thanks for all the replies. i love to get ideas from everyone. keep them coming if you think of anything. i still have two weeks to prepare.

so far i think i will bring:

lots of gum (already went to costco for the big boxes.hehe)

cans of poppycock

i think i will stick to some baklava and date ma'moul only because the bakery right by my house sells one of the best of both i've ever tried.

scented candle

maybe i'll look for some lotions in a nice box set

also look for a knife kit and a veg peeler. maybe a microplane too. hmmm..

hmmmm what else. gotta get something small for his dad. thats always the hardest part!
