Sorry, DACA applications overwhelmed the uscis adjudication system and took priority for 18 months. Its not any refugee intake that is causing this slowdown..

If congress has its way it'll be a long time until your loved one can join you. They are now talking about rescinding VWP privileges, which will help stem a lot of illegal immigration, but on the other hand, they want tighter background checks for everyone else, not only for refugees.
