NVC (JUNE 2015 i130 approvals) [edited title]

Finally got my RFE approved today. Will be joining you guys soon.

I-130 Approved. Went home after work yesterday and there it was... sitting in my mail box... my NOA2.

PD July 10th. Transferred to Potomac on Oct 10th from NSC.

Approved date, Nov 24th 2015.

Even though I am a July filer, I wanted to follow this topic since my packet is now going to NVC since the 24th of Nov.

Once they approve the I-30 after the RFE checks out, they post the approval online.

I called again today and they finally let me know that it was received the 27th of November at NVC, now just waiting on the Case #.

Interesting thing the lady told me was that I would get my packet emailed if I had an email Address in the form I-130. So we will see if that's the case, in the meantime I will call every few days to see if I get the number faster that way.

Has anyone here received their case number through email?

When calling the NVC 1-603-334-0700 Is anyone else getting a recording saying there's a lot of callers and to call back? I have been calling and calling...is there another number?

I think that is the only number. I haven't tried calling yet, I got the email that our case was sent to NVC on 11/28 (NOA2 11/19). I was going to wait until Friday to call since that will be 15 days since NOA2 approval. I hear a lot of people saying this week that they are getting that recording or else they just get hung up on due to call volume so I know you aren't the only one experiencing that. Hopefully we all can get through soon and case #!

Hey all,

I am thinking about surprising my husband and flying over to the US for Christmas/NY -- does anyone know if this is possible with the CR1 pending?

NVC have the case, but no case # etc has been allocated yet.

I live in Australia so we have a visa-waiver (ESTA) program with the US so I can travel as a tourist ... just not sure if I will be denied of POE or if I have to apply some other way..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

NO NO NO. We will not accept 45 days.

Seems like by 14 days of receive, case # is assigned. From what I been reading.

I got 45 days as well that's what they told me. Hopefully not that long..

My NVC receive date is Nov 10, still waiting on case #. We call NVC every 2/3 days and they keep saying 45 days!! Perhaps it is accurate?

I hope not I called today and she said they started processing mine at NVC on the 19th still no case number.. I will call tomorrow again.

Yes we got the same date that they received, and we have the case no. but have to wait for the packet for the invoice no. so were waiting as well this week hopefully, for the checklist, well just to check they will email it? or we will get the hardcopy?
