Hi VJ members my wife send both of AOS and IV packages and the NVC said that they recieved the packages at April 12 and its 45 days to scan the documents i hope that every thing is ok but i have a question about the medical examination that I had smoked hash few days ago and I heared that the embassy will deniy my case if they now that i am smoking drugs.. please any one help me

Regards

Tough luck man.

...

If you lie at your medical you will definitely get denied forever. If you tell the truth the process may or may not be delayed slightly.

Solution, TELL THE TRUTH WHEN ASKED.

This will be my final post on your subject.

If they ask you, have you done drugs in the last year, or if you have ever done drugs. Your answer is yes.

Update to all my June peeps! My husband is now a US resident. POE was 4/14 at the Ontario/US border. All in all the experience was quick and painless. Was at POE for about 45 minutes. The border patrol office didn't even ask to see our itemized list of stuff we had in our UHAUL, nor did he check in it. He just asked if we had any firearms or more than $10,000 in cash. I said I wish lol. The montreal embassy did however forget to include a copy of my husbands no police record. Thank god I brought our entire interview folder with us because I had a copy with me. That was fine and he accepted that. Not sure what would of happened if I didn't have a copy.

Anyway he stamped my husbands passport, shook his hand and said welcome to USA and best of luck to you. 25 hour drive later we are now together in FL. Such an awesome feeling!!! :)

Cosmos, I didnt see your message before !!

Im so happy for you ! I remember the time when we sent our paper to USCIS, when we were waitinf for the NOA2 !!

Look at you now, everything is finished !!!

Congrats and enjoy the life with your media naranja !!!!!

My wife got approved today . Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

She is scheduled to arrive here on our anniversary date 05/01. (I was careful with every step of the process, but I just went my gut on this one and booked her flight last month, so I am glad it worked out :-) )

The interviewer actually told her that everything is 100% complete as far as info from the forms or associated docs. He just asked for Passport, medical , Birth, marriage and police certificate originals and she was out with approval.

This was not possible without this forum and this amazing group (June fillers ) . Good luck to you all and keep the good news coming.
