Hi Shala6.! My I-130 was approved on November 9 but myUSCIS still does not show that my case was approved. Did they update your USCIS? Thanks for your time and good luck!

Got our interview date today :) May 11th with London embassy wooohoooo!! Strange because we never received a CC... He's here now visiting for 6 weeks, gonna be sure to send him with all our original documents for the interview:)

Congratulations. So you didn't ask them when was your case come (I figure about 3/14). So you been waiting all this time and had no idea. If you could get that CC date that would be great so I could add you to the spreadsheet.

Well I called them last week and they told me they were still reviewing it... So I wasn't expecting to get an interview this soon. I'll try to call them soon to find out.

July 28th 2015 - received NOA1 (hard copy)

Sep 22nd 2015 - received email of RFE

Nov 05th 2015 - received NOA2 approval

Nov 16th 2015 - received at NVC

Dec 08th 2015 - received case # and IIN #

Dec 09th 2015 - paid AOS bill

Jan 04th 2016 - sent AOS & IV documents

Jan 06th 2016 - paid IV bill

Jan 08th 2016 - completed DS-260

Jan 06th 2016 - received scan date

Feb 17th 2016 - received 2nd scan date

Mar 18th 2016 - case complete

Mar 28th 2016 - Interview Date Scheduled "May 10th"

April 5th 2016 - Medical examination

May 10th 2016 - interview at consulate

NVC because it was just after they assigned us our interview date and our petitions weren't shipped out yet.

Thanks! I'll try that, too. Maybe I'll get lucky. :-))) What arguments did you use to ask NVC for an earlier interview date?

I was in your batch of late May-June approvals, and I hoped for an April interview. But we got delayed because we had to get a police certificate from a third country, and now my plans for a spring interview are in jeopardy...

It looks like with the scan date of March 28, we're looking at a June interview - just as the cost of plane tickets will skyrocket. If I could push the interview to May, that would be awesome.

Oh, well. First we have to get a Case Complete from NVC... It says on CEAC website they should review in 14-30 days. I'm hoping for 14! (even though I know that 30 days is the average, LOL).

Our reason of the expedite was based on the effects that we faced in Fiji after the cyclone (Winston - Category 5.) I believe you can go ahead and try requesting for an expedite now - the quicker the better!

The main thread over there is so busy, I like chilling with you guys way better.



Also I received my email this morning for my wifes interview.



Has anyone here filed taxes single even though they are married? My accountant said it didn't matter, but im worried that that could be a reason for denial. What are your thoughts/experiences

Hey foreign fantasy, I personally filed single but that isn't a problem unless your spouse was here. To my understanding once your spouse is here then you have to file married if they work file joint it they don't then your spouse will be your dependent.

So they are asking for the tax info for 2015 to be brought to the interview. Im just worried they will question her on the marriage if they look at that specifically. Am I being paranoid?

Wait when did they tell you that she had to take 2015 tax info. Cause I was just given the date and time of my husbands interview.

But no your not being paranoid just make sure to have everything they need and more if possible and most of all faith and your wife will be with you before you know it. Positive vibe
