Woah I just noticed youre from Kosovo, is that place still official? Or what happens with embassy? Do you go to Serbian consulate? I wonder if your case will be treated uniquely

Of course it's official. They already have a American Embassy in the capital. They're working on building a bigger one now, almost done I think. We go through a different consulate not in Serbia. So many people have came from Kosovo this year. Next week comes my cousins fiancé.

Just called and NVC she said my case was received on the 16 and they started processing it on the 19th and there's still no case number or invoice number. Hopefully by this week I get a case number...

They probably just wont be working on Thursday for Thanksgiving, so its up to you whether to call or not. That should be the only day they are off.

Just found out my case was received by NVC on 11/24. I received a text and email when I-130 was approved, but not when they received it... I had to call to find out. No case # as of today. I called around 9:15am (central time) and got through within 5 min. Praise God! I'm getting excited now!!

I see alot od December case completes gor us June folk.

I-130 sent: 6/12/15

Noa1/priority date: 6/17/15

Noa2: approval 11/20/15

I-797 by mail arrived: 11/27/15

Case sent to department of state NVC: 11/28/15

So 8 days from noa2 to the case being sent to NVC.

Does this seem to be the trend thus far ?

We can start calling 2 weeks from the case sent date to NVC for case # correct?

It seems what i have seen and read 7 to 10 days from NOA2 to sent to NVC.

Than another week for NVC to receive.

So 2 weeks from NOA2 petition shoukd be received at NVC.

Now the big mystery will be when we get case#. Hopefully right after.

I am getting very anxious. Praying all June filers get case complete by end of December. No checklist, no lost documents.
