How long do you think it'll take for a case # to be assigned ditdot?

NVC received our case on 11/10 and still haven't heard anything. My husband tried to call NVC today and got the automated voicemail saying they were too busy to take calls and hung up..

Hi Shala6.! My I-130 was approved on November 9 but myUSCIS still does not show that my case was approved. Did they update your USCIS? Thanks for your time and good luck!

How long do you think it'll take for a case # to be assigned ditdot?

NVC received our case on 11/10 and still haven't heard anything. My husband tried to call NVC today and got the automated voicemail saying they were too busy to take calls and hung up..

Hey Char ... usually on the 2nd week after NVC receives your case but there is no guarantee .. it can be up to a month for them to assign the Case and invoice number.

Lines are always busy .. keep calling to get through till you hear the options ;)

How long did it take for them to update your USCIS? Did you get letter first or see the status chenged on USCIS first?

On the 3rd it was approved. I got a text message saying they updated my case status on Nov 12. I went online and it said it was sent to the department of state on a email too. And I called everyday from the 12 asking if they got my case and on the 19 they got it.. Now I'll keep calling until I get a case number even though they said it'll take up to 45 days. They said up to 35 for them to receive it, it didn't take 35 so I hope it doesn't take 45 for a case number.

They haven't received it yet, so no number either :D..

DEC 18 2015: Received Case number via phone
DEC 18 2015: DS261 Completed Online
DEC 18 2015: AOS Fee Paid Online
DEC 18 2015: Welcome Letter sent via USPS. No email
DEC 21 2015: AOS Fee marked as PAID
DEC 29 2015: AOS and IV package mailed
DEC 31 2015: DS-261 called NVC to unlock
JAN 04 2016: AOS and IV package Delivered
JAN 04 2016: IV Invoiced and paid Online

APR 29 2016: Case Status updated

MAY 3 2016: Email from Embassy to drop off Passport. We are APPROVED. Thank God!!

MAY 4 2016: Dropped off Passport

MAY 13 2016: Case Status updated to ISSUED

MAY 20 2016: Picked up Visa package and Passport. Praise God!!

JUNE 28 2016: POE HOUSTON here I come!!

Woah I just noticed youre from Kosovo, is that place still official? Or what happens with embassy? Do you go to Serbian consulate? I wonder if your case will be treated uniquely
