Blah we got a request to submit my husbands birth certificate. We did electronic processing but his birth certificate is in French and we are going through the Montreal consulate. My husband did call the NVC to make sure in advance that the birth certificate in French was acceptable and they said yes as Montreal is in Quebec where the official language is French. Obviously we will be submitting it the way they want it, however I wanted to not only ask if any of you from Montreal had the same issue.... But also to warn you guys too that you may get check listed if you don't translate to English even if your consulate is in your native language. I just want to cry. I read everything y'all talk about in this forum and others but I don't talk a lot. Thanks for being my comfort with this hella long process.

USCIS-Nebraska Service Center

2015-06-17 - I-130 sent

2015-06-29 - I-130 received, NOA1

2015-12-03 - I-130 approved!, NOA2

2015-12-15 - Sent to NVC

NVC

2015-12-22 - NVC Received

2016-01-04 - NVC case number and IIN assigned

2016-01-05 - Received DS-261 / AOS Bill

2016-01-05 - Submitted DS-261

2016-01-07 - Paid AOS Fee

2016-01-13 - AOS shows paid

2016-01-14 - IV fee unlocked

2016-01-14 - Paid IV Fee

2016-01-20 - DS-260 unlocked

2016-01-27 - DS-260 sent

2016-01-27 - AOS/IV package sent EP!

2016-01-27 - Automatic email confirmed that AOS/IV package has been received by the NVC

2016-02-08 - Checklist for native birth certificate needing translation

2016-02-16 - Third N/A! Called and confirmed we have CC!!!

Montreal Consulate

2016-02-29 - Montreal Consulate Packet Recieved by email.

2016-02-29 - NVC website shows case now in Montreal

2016-03-30 - Medical completed

2016-04-05 - Interview APPROVED!!!!!!!!!

2016-04-06 - CEAC website shows Visa ISSUED!!!

2016-04-11 - Got passeport with visa back in mail

2016-04-12 - Date of US entry through through Thousand/Wellesley Island

2016-04-14 - Arrived at destination, husband and wife finally reunited

Hi Shala6.! My I-130 was approved on November 9 but myUSCIS still does not show that my case was approved. Did they update your USCIS? Thanks for your time and good luck!

I am sorry to hear this. My husband is in Ontario but we submitted everything in English, birth certificate, his no police record, etc. We also Electronic filed, you should be good to go once you send them the translation/English version. :)

Okay I don't know if its nepotism or not but Hallelujah I got Case Complete.

Best part was I saw the 3 NA's covered my mouth, my husband thought I bit my tongue. I showed him what I was seeing on my phone and he gave me a big hug and kiss and said "Baby we did it".

Scan date 1/4. Today is day 36.

My timeline is jacked and trying to get the admin Captain Ewok to fix it.
