Hi Guys,

First time posting, just wondering. I sent in my documents via email (both supporting and financial together) and they were received on Dec 22nd. However until now I still haven't had any updates on my case, I call daily and they tell me nothing new. Today (it's been 45 days since the scan date), they told me I have the option to request a supervisor take a look at it, however they said it might take an additional 42 days.

Any idea why my case still hasn't been reviewed (although people with later scan dates have been reviewed), do email sent documents take longer to approve? Also should I wait a bit or request a supervisor take a look?

Thanks

Did you have the option to Electronically send in all of your documents? I assume you did since you already got their answer.

For the supervisor review I have read everywhere that its like playing the lottery, you might get stuck on the extra 42 days or somebody approves it the next day. So its really your gamble to decide on.

I would wait at least one more week with daily calls before requesting a supervisor just in case.

Good luck.

Hi,

Thanks for replying,

Actually for my case (starts with AMM), I only have the option to send by email, not physical mail. Unfortunately it's not the electronic processing like Canada, just sending via email and waiting for them to review.

Oh weird. Then I have no idea how long that normally takes. But I would still wait a few more days since we just got through the holidays. Keep in mind both xmas eve and xmas, new years eve and new years were possible slow downs.

So I would wait to gamble just a tiny bit longer. But its your decision in the end :)

Not every filer is given the option of being put on supervisor review. Some are put automatically after their 30 days so If you prefer to wait a bit then it would probably be best that you don't call while waiting.

All the best :star:

Sorry for not getting online till now, Friday evening I checked my email and I have a checklist, in Bosnia I guess you have to have a police certificate, AND and court certificate...

So now I have to wait till my wife sends me that so I can send it in. I think that is everything though.

So I think they are already working on the 4th scan date.
