My scan date was yesterday the 4th, so I think that means from yesterday in the next 30-45 days I should get a cc or an rfe right? Also I called today and the lady told me that I have to wait a week before they will show IV as paid and unlock the ds-260. I want to get that done as soon as possible as well!

Gosh I hope not a week to wait.

We paid IV monday same day packages arrived to NVC and paid.

So of course we are stalking our status to say paid.

I figure our scan date is also 1/4. And staying hopelessly optimistic with less than 30 days Case Complete.

We need to be in that March I two view queue.

So ready to submit this DS-260.

Foreign Fantasy it's like we are bunched together.

COSMOS where are you?

question on ds 260 - other names used - my wifes last name was changed after marriage - should i list her last name under other names used?

Yes you list any name she has legally gone by. I had to list my maiden name and previous married name.

couple questions listed on ds260 - I live in US and my wife is coming by herself to US after the interview. I have answered no to both of these questions. Just want to confirm with others if I am reading this correctly?

Is your spouse immigrating to the U.S. with you? - no

Is your spouse immigrating to the U.S. at a later date to join you - no

Yes that is correct. You are not immigrating you are the petitioners. Petitioners don't immigrate (new a Visa)

Can anyone tell me when we submit the proof of bonafide relationship? I have looked at USCIS, NVC, and visa journey webites so much over the last 6 months that my eyes are crossing. It wasn't listed when I submitted the USCIS packet for the papers showing bonafide relationship.... And now I don't see it on the NVC website as something required for submission. Surely that needs to be sent in before CC and interview date yes? Meh, I am so confused!

The bondafide evidence is lists on the I-130 instructions. If you didn';t send you still have a second chance and send with your AOS or IV package.

Canada isn't a hard embassy so no need to load up like my embassy (Nigeria). But pics, communication, proof you have visited each other should suffice.

Ok I have a question. My husband was born in Quebec so his birth certificate is in French. He will be at the Montreal consulate for his interview. Does he need to have the birth certificate translated to English? I have heard many people on here say that theirs didn't need to be translated because the language is spoken at the consulate. I can't seem to find the information now that it's time to send in our packet of course. Also, we will submit our packet online, does anyone have any recent tips or considerations about the online filing? Thanks so much for the help... Hubby and I are both fighting depression and working too much so it's been really great to be able to come here and watch y'all have good news!!!

I hope everyone had a great holiday and New years! :) I been MIA a bit, my husband has been visiting for the last 2 weeks, he leaves Monday :(. Our lawyer, get this is STILL out of the office, he returns tomorrow. My husband called yesterday and wrote him a email on Monday night. So we will harass him again tomorrow. We are still just sitting on our Fees, AOS/IV fees are ready to be paid but nothing has moved in almost 3 weeks because of our lawyers absence! We are beyond frustrated at the moment but are just trying to stay calm and see if our lawyer contacts us tomorrow. If not heads might roll! :) I am so happy for all you guys moving ahead. I hope next week we will be right behind you guys.
