Agent of choice filled out and AOS paid on the 16th... It's marked paid but the IV fee still hasn't opened up!! Why is it taking so long? Also is it safe to send the AOS and IV package separate? I'm waiting for one more document before I can send the IV package off. Thanks everyone :) God bless.

Your DS-261 has to be reviewed first. That unlocks the DS-260 and gets the IV fee invoiced.

I had to call twice today because the first lady was "unable to review my ds-261". The second lady, much nicer, did it right away and said I should receive an email in a few days for the invoice on the IV bill.

So yeah, cant believe the first lady would just not do it, ive been waiting forever for the status to switch to be paid on the aos fee as well.

Anyways my wifes documents arrived on Saturday, and I just have to print a few more of mine out and I should be almost ready to send of the packages.

How is everyone else progressing, and merry belated Christmas.

My case hasn't moved! Stupid lawyer still on holiday vacation, so no fees have been paid. Just waiting for him to get back. I still haven't received our welcome letter either, hopefully that will come this week. I hope everyone had a great holiday! :)

JD great does not even begin to describe it!! Still have 9 days with him, makes me sad just thinking about him leaving. This truly was the best Christmas gift I could ask for, 2 weeks with my soulmate. Hopefully Valentines day will be the next visit.

I prepared my packages, I just need to get a copy of my naturalization to support part 1 on the affidavit of support, as well as print out 2 more passport photos of my wife for her package. Hopefully Walgreens is open late enough tonight for me to grab that. If all goes well I will send out the packages tomorrow!

I guess I don't need to call nvc tonight to open my Iv payment so that I could pay it. They just sent me a email n I just paid it. I love this part of the process.

Almost 1,000 % sure passport photos are not required in packets anymore (even though they still say on checklist of items to submit), NVC changed their procedures this year. You HAVE To take them to your interview though.

Can you find me a quote somewhere in their directions? I will look too. If not that would make it easier for me trying to print them tonight

I sent both my AOS and IV packages few hours ago. I only submitted the minimum required for every package.

AOS Package :I-864, 3 years tax scripts , employment letter.

IV Package: Birth, marriage and police certificate , Passport bio page. I didn't want to include the two passport photos but when I checked everywhere and I couldn't find anywhere where it says its not required any more . I decided to include them.

Both my AOS and IV payment are still in process. Hopefully they will be updated by tomorrow.

How is everyone one else doing ?
