Gobucks! I honestly haevn't tried since I can't pay the fees myself anyway. I think it would just be torture to see the fees open and not be able to do anything. I did just email my lawyer, but I am sure nothing is going to happen until the 4th of January. What does the error message say?

I seen people receive that, it usually just means it isn't ready to be paid yet. SInce we just got our case # I would wait a little bit. I think they are still updating it in the system.

No we have everything. I call it a "No police record", that is what they call it in Canada lol. My husband got that a few months ago, Canada's police records are good for a year and our lawyer has a copy already. Literally we are just waiting to pay fees, lawyer fill out IV paperwork, give him a letter from my employment. I been waiting on the letter so it has the most recent date on it. AOS is already done too, lawyer sent me a copy.

Did you receive a letter from NVC or email yet, like a welcome letter?

It's funny the lady said "now you have to wait 28 days for your instructions before you do anything".

Is she insane. Man I want case complete by end of January. Maybe letter will come this weekend or monday.

Yeah, I called them around 10:30am this morning and they had it. Only waited 20 mins on hold to. Give them a call!

The pay invoice page updated itself and I was able to make both payments this evening. I guess it will take a few days to process the both of them.

I received my welcome letter today or yesterday. i am waiting on the documents from my wife to get here early next week from Bosnia and then i will send both packets in. How long after do you guys think it will take for the IV fee to unlock, and after i have paid it is when i can fill out the ds 260?

Or can i do that after just the first fee is paid?

Also congrats guys on all the case numbers!!!! Happy days!!

Read my timeline and you'll see. I got my case number Monday, submitted the DS-261 Monday. The AOS became available Tuesday and I paid it then. I also validated the DS-261 over the phone on Wednesday. The IV fee unlocked Thursday and I paid that. The AOS marked as paid yesterday and the IV Payment is still in process but hopefully will mark as paid Monday. Once it shows paid, the DS-260 will unlock for you to fill out. I sent my package in Thursdayy overnighted so it would've arrived yesterday. Good luck!!!! Welcome to the faster part of the process!

This holiday is probably going to delay our case at least 3 weeks. Can't do anything until stupid lawyer gets back after new years. So frusterating!! I knew this was going to happen. My husband will be here in 2 days so I guess I will just forget about this until the new year and have some fun.

There is an "AOS Document Cover Sheet" you can print out from the CEAC site that is large font and has bar codes. That is what you can use to mail both packages in!
