Ok thank you :) does he need a copy of my original birth certificate and my children's birth certificate as well for the interview? Or is that only if they too are immigranting with him?

I think he may need yours - in the binder I made I put my original and a copy for him. I don't think he needs your children's - only if they were immigrating with him. Just yours since your petitioning for him.

So I just finished filling out a B2 application so my wife can come out for the holidays and new years. It will most likely be denied but she really wants to try anyway. Plus since I haven't seen her in so long we can use the denial as evidence in the cr1 interview as to why we haven't seen each other in so long. And who knows. what if she gets approved on that 0.01% chance.

JD one thing i can advice you and others interested in calling from overseas since international calls are expensive .. is.. the app ---> magic jack

It works great for me and i have seen others on here recommend it

oh and call early ... just right before they open.. you will get better service and a better chance of not having to call several times... :D

Hello,

I am also a June filer, I sent my I-130 June 4th received my NOA1 June 8th. November 3rd my I-130 was approved and I got an email saying that it was getting sent to the department of state. My NOA2 came in the mail, for the past week I kept calling NVC to see if they received my case and until yesterday, it was a no and that it could take up to 35 days. Today I called and the customer service rep on the phone said that they have it but it could take up to 45 days for them to assign me a case and invoice number.. Does anyone know when I should call back and how long it actually takes for them to assign that to me? I hope it doesn't take 45 days for that. If anyone can please help me, I will greatly appreciate it.

I hope this whole process goes easy and fast for all of us. It sucks having to wait to be with our loved ones. Lets go NVC please don't let us wait too much longer.

Hi Everyone,

Just so glad to know that you have created this thread, others have already their cases almost complete in the other thread, while this is almost up to go for the NVC Stage like as I am now, we with my husband are still waiting for some news from NVC, I have emailed them but haven't have their reply, only the automatic reply, well the USCIS said to wait till the end of November, anyway some say here that USCIS will give an update if somehow they have send our papers to the NVC,

Anyway God bless us all, and keep our prayers, in faith and in Gods grace...

P.S.

We got approved last October 23 and I am a March Filer...

Also no news for me unfortunately, hopefully tomorrow is a new day?

Looks like our thread will stay strong! The other one is useful too for info but i much prefer our group as its more tightly nit for dates?

Anyways for my b2 visa the interview should be next friday the 27th so lets see if she gets through, wouldnt that be a nice black friday gift, mhmmmm.
