How can you tell if it is invoiced? You will see the amount $120.00 instead of the $0.00. I clicked pay now and it brought up the routing number page, unfortunately im at work and don't have my check book :(.

also where did you hear/read about this option? I have read this information on quite a number of threads. Here are 2 of them...

OK so I just got off the phone with NVC, they told me they received my case on dec 7th and started processing it on Dec 11th. The representative told me that I will hear from them as soon as they get my information in they system and it. Could take 42 days. So I asked will it really take that long she said it could be sooner.

I'm also in colorado hoping the roads clear up by the time I get off work at 6.

Every rep says something different, but their "script" is always it can take 42 days. Some reps are just nicer than others. My gut is 2-3 weeks. NVC received and scanned our case on 12/7 and we still don't have a case number. Hoping next week..maybe? Keep calling Sini, call every week.

My lawyer also just emailed me and said I need to just "relax" and have trust in the system and that we should have a case number by January 7th or before. That there is no need for me to call NVC and that he will receive an email once we get an invoice and case number. I am still going to call every week, screw that just relax #######.

Ok friends - was able to pay my AOS fees today. I called to validate this and DS-261 but they said they're working on the case so can't answer any questions and to call back next week. I'll be calling tomorrow. Lol

Question - on the cover sheet checklist in the welcome letter, this is the one I print twice and put one with AOS package and one with NVC package right? Do I check in all the items included in the one package on both of them (so essentially they're identical) and put one as the cover sheet of each OR do I check off only the items relevant "enclosed" for AOS and leave IV documents Not applicable for the AOS cover sheet and do the opposite for the IV cover sheet (click off IV documents enclosed and put AOS documents as Not Applicable)?

One more question - the receipt confirmation says in process - so there's no barcode or anything - do I need to wait for a barcoded receipt to then mail in the package? Will my spouse need the receipt copy for the interview? Also, do I have to wait to be invoiced for the IV to mail the package?

Help. I have everything else I need to submit my package except the answers to these questions.

Lol Cosmo22,I can't wait till January. I got my fingers crossed and praying for a number from nvc asap. Also cosmo22 we ended up with same date nvc received our paperwork.

Seriously I hope by January we both have case numbers, fees paid AND packets ready to go. :) We ALL need February interviews! Here's to a great start of the year. :) In 6 days my hubby will be visting for two weeks, so I am going to try and not call NVC once haha & just enjoy our holiday together. Our lawyer will be on vacation anyway so it will just bug me if we get a case number and fees can't get paid (since our lawyer has our fee $$$).

Are you ready to face a hurdler? :D

Haha forget that, I am still just trying to PUKE RAINBOWS!!!

Talked to NVC today. Submitted Ds-261 yesterday. Submitted payment for AOS today and said in process. When I just went in there, it switched to not paid but when I called NVC she said its pending with them and it's fine so don't pay again. Also, my receipt is still showing on the site so it's weird that it says that. She just made me the agent just now too (when the woman earlier told me she couldn't yet) so that's great.

Question - when do I send the AOS and IV package to the NVC? After I pay AOS or after I pay AOS and IV? One more question, If I do have to wait til after I pay both, does the IV fee need to show paid (not in process) before I send the package or can I send it while it's pending?

When will DS-260 open up for me to fill it out?

Thanks for all your help gurus.

You dont have to wait for the IV fee to be invoiced or when the payment is still pending, for you to send in both packages. The reviewing of those packages are not dependent on the payment of your fees so that it is why it is advised that you send them in as soon as possible so that they can be reviewed sooner than later.

When will DS-260 open up for me to fill it out? The DS-260 will be available after the IV fee has been paid.

Thanks for all your help gurus.

Hi everyone, I called NVC this morning, I didn't wait long at all. The rep was really nice. She said they have our file, and it will take up to 42 days. Which is the script they have.

NOA 1: 6/17/15

NOA 2: 11/20/15

Sent to NVC: 11/28/15

NVC received: 12/07/15

So what do you guys think? 3 weeks from the week of the 7th? I think I'll call once a week to see if they have my case #.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, mine would be complete if my husband was here! But I'm abundantly blessed.
