Hi all,

I was able to submit my DS-261 today but not pay the AOS fee. It gave me an error that my case was in the process of termination! So I called frantic and after 30 min wait, she told me the packet wasn't even sent yet to me so I jumped the gun so that's why the error. Once I get the email, then I can pay the fees and call to validate myself as the agent. Does anyone know how long it will take for the email to be sent to me?!

OK so I just got off the phone with NVC, they told me they received my case on dec 7th and started processing it on Dec 11th. The representative told me that I will hear from them as soon as they get my information in they system and it. Could take 42 days. So I asked will it really take that long she said it could be sooner.

I'm also in colorado hoping the roads clear up by the time I get off work at 6.

Hey BarryPrincess201 TY & CONGRATZ to you too!

We were just waiting on the PCC info and we're just about to send out our AOS & IV application packages :)

After payment of the AOS fees you can go ahead and send in your IV package together with your AOS package instead of waiting for the IV fee to be invoiced.

I have a question - is there a new bar coded cover sheet you get from the payment portal though for paying the IV fee that needs to be in that package?

Print out two copies of the AOS Document Cover sheet. One for the AOS package and the other for the IV package

This option is for those who have paid for the AOS fee but haven't had their IV fee invoiced.

Thanks Shala! I'm eagerly waiting on getting that email. I keep trying to log in hoping to be able to pay. I've never been so excited to pay a bill in my life. Lol.

How long did you have to wait to be able to pay your AOS?

Also is there no chance of messing something up if you send both in under the AOS document cover sheet?

Our case&II#s were assigned on the 11th which was on a Friday but we called on Monday (14th) and got our case&II#s. We were able to login to the ceac.state.gov/ website and saw that the DS-261 was available and the AOS invoiced.

About the AOS cover sheet for the IV package- Apparently this is an option permitted by NVC. You may call NVC to clarify :)
