I just called NVC and they told me that they received my case on 12/09. The strange thing is that I called on 12/10 and they didn't have my case then. Does it take few days in order to show received from their end ? or my call was answered by a bad rep on 12/10 ?

Timeline

Great news here! Called NVC 30 min ago and got my case number and ID number. When will I be able to log in online? It just says it's not available on there yet. They did tell me that they just processed my case number today but I assume it just takes a day or 2 to go online?

June 10-NOA1

Nov 10- NOA2

Nov 20- Sent to NVC

Nov 23 - NVC received

Nov 27- NVC "real receive date" - they started processing this day

Dec 14 - Case Number Assigned

I have a friend with ur exact timeline.

So looks like 11/10 NOA2 they are getting case#'s.

I am 6 days behind you so maybe next monday for me.

I'm excited.

COSMOS, Foreign Fantasy you ready!! ;)

I am so ready JD!!! :) If you get case # Monday, hopefully Christmas Eve would be mine. I am 3 days away from you. That would be awesome, but yet nothing would move with my case since lawyer would be on holiday vacation then. I called NVC last night, nothing. But the lady told me AGAIN it doesn't take 42 days. I said I guess no Christmas miracle for me tonight and she laughed. I will call again Friday or Monday. Still hoping for a February interview.

Timeline

can someone write the process after NOA2 and then how long does it take to the end

See the thing with timelines is they re always fluid. 3 years ago NVC was processing 21 days. The record to this day is 11 days. Than they introduced the dreaded I-864 April of 2013 and everything went longggggg after that.

Than NVC started this year that dreaded 60 days to process than they changed to 42 than sometimes 30.

I have looked at varied timelines for different countries and they seem to have a theme of how long and when. Case # assignment varies from 7 days to 24 days after NVC receives your case . No expedites involved.

Everyone's best information is still the NVC Process wiki. I had Saylin add in the fact about calling NVC after a few days to a week to have DS-261 reviewed.
