Ok, I got it !!!

We have a NVC case number and an invoice ID number !!!

I have no idea what an invoice ID number is, but we have it !!!!

Damn... I forgot to ask when do they receive our case ...

I will call on monday !

Congratulations.

When you go to the payment portal you need the IIN with the case# to login in. That's all its used for is logging in. Keep eye on portal seems they are invoicing and opening the DS-261 pretty fast after issuing case# and IIN.

JD so am I!!! I am going to call NVC tomorrow and pray we have a case #. Our lawyer is going on Christmas holiday for 2 weeks and we will be screwed if our case number is assigned while he is away. Nothing will move with our case until the New Year. My husband will however be in the States for the holiday and a few days after the New Year so I am going to write my Lawyer tomorrow. Hopefully we can stop by his office and my hubby can sign any paperwork he needs for our AOS/IV packets. Would save lots of time with mailing docs back and forth. Let me know if you call tomorrow how it goes, crossing fingers for both of us!

I didn't know it will be that fast ! I just called NVC, I was waiting, on friday night with nvc and I had the case number and the Invoice ID number !

Then I filled the DS261 which is pretty (sorry but) dumb as they ask for an agent, so I put my wife as my agent ! And that's it !

I don't know why they have to review it for 2 or 3 weeks ... Well, at least, something happen !

Yes I did call 7:20am was on hold 20 minutes. Nice lady said not in system yet. No time or days was given.

I just got off the call with NVC as well. No case Number has been assigned. If I had to guess I would say Wednesday I should have a number. I HOPE.

I just don't understand why they can't assign a case number the day case is received, makes no sense to me. If you guys still don't have one, I am sure we don't either. You both are a few days before me.

Great news here! Called NVC 30 min ago and got my case number and ID number. When will I be able to log in online? It just says it's not available on there yet. They did tell me that they just processed my case number today but I assume it just takes a day or 2 to go online?

June 10-NOA1

Nov 10- NOA2

Nov 20- Sent to NVC

Nov 23 - NVC received

Nov 27- NVC "real receive date" - they started processing this day

Dec 14 - Case Number Assigned

I paid my AOS fees last Wednesday and sent my packet last Thursday and just now I paid my IV bill. Now I have to wait until my IV bill says paid and complete my DS260 and then its all in gods hands from there.
