Well silly me forgot about Google voice and it works from my laptop. So on hold about 15 to 20 minutes.

The nice lady laughed because I was so anxious.

Received at NVC 12/2

And of course she even put me on hold to check how long for case#. But she did say "well we can take up to 42 days. But it doesn't take that long"

She laughed and said call end of next week.

So nice lady. I like her. <3

The rep "Angus" I talked to yesterday said the same thing.."42 days, but it dosesn't take that long". He was nice, except NVC didn't even have my case yet at all. Going to try again on Monday. I am following you now! haha

I hope Monday! If we got a case number by the end of next week, that would be amazing! I so want my husband to have a end of January/February Interview. Maybe I am just wishful thinking, but that is what we are shooting for!

2 weeks after they started processing my case still no case number or invoice number.. :( my case was recieved on the 16 at NVC...

Yes, it looks like NVC is taking longer than usual in some cases. Including ours. :crying:

Well, patience is a virtue! Too bad in our case this delay will probably mean that I'll have to take an extra trip overseas. Grrrrrh! :girlwerewolf2xn:

There is no standard time period for this. Although I've seen case and II#'s issued within 2 - 3 weeks from when cases are received at NVC.
