We are having an issue setting up the interview on the https://cgifederal.secure.force.comwebsite. It has been about 28 hours since my fiancee has paid the $265 MRV fee at BPI bank. The website is giving me the following error message when entering the receipt number:

"No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number. Please validate that your receipt number is correct and that you have paid the correct amount for the visa which you are applying for."

Do you guys know if this is a common issue and is just a matter of waiting longer for the information to get updated into the website, or should I be concerned and start taking further actions at this point?

Call their hotline instead and schedule the interview with the operator. Hotlines are: 976-8500, 9768501, 9768502 from Monday-Friday 8am-8pm.

Use the receipt number printed by the bank (located on the back of the paper receipt) and for a K-1 visa you choose "immigrant visa". The Priority Date - this is not used by USEM with the K-1 visa. Just the same, the form will not let you leave the space blank so, find your NOA1 and enter the RECEIVED DATE, you will also find it in the email from NVC when you get your MNL #. You can also use any date since the date is not used by USEM. But, as we said you can't leave it blank or you can't move forward with your scheduling. And last but not least the Case ID - this is your MNL #.

If this fails then call the numbers that you were given to schedule via phone.

Thanks everyone. So I found out the reason for the delay is that due to the APEC Summit, the was yesterday or the day before was considered a national holiday and no processing was performed. I checked it again today and it has now gone through

Great news!

On a side note, and I am not looking for an answer but I was wondering how much money was missed during this visit. Was it worth all the trouble that the Filipino's had to put up with to host this even?. Just a thought.

My fiancee paid the MRV yesterday at the bank and we are getting a similar error that it is no recognized. The receipt she got from the bank says allow 4 hours before trying to schedule the appointment. After 12 hours it is still giving the same error and I am just assuming because things move slow in the Philippines that I need to give it a day or two. If I keep having the issue then I will probably use another method to try and schedule the interview.
