Juarez just sends a letter. The letter you receive points you to the sites where the instructions, forms and place to schedule your appointment and interview is. The letter is the only 'packet' you will receive. You do not have to wait for the letter to begin filling out forms and scheduling appointments. The letter will be needed by the K-1 applicant at their ASC, medical and interview in Juarez, along with the confirmation page from the DS-160. if you do not receive it before going to Juarez, you can get the letter printed out from the information window at the consulate before going to your medical and appointments.

Here are the forms: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/fianceforms.html , info/instructions from Juarez consulate site: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/instructionsk1k4.html ,

instructions (very important to follow and they explain a lot): http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/K1/CDJ%20-%20Ciudad%20Juarez.pdf,

schedule ASC and interview: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-mx/iv/information/iv_services, and

CDJ info: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Mexico&cty=Juarez

While waiting, you can read through the reviews to see how the procedure works and what documents were needed by others applying for a K-1: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Mexico&cty=&dfilter=5

We received our NOA2 10 days ago so I assume I should start Calling NVC get a case number schedule Biometrics in Tijuana and pretty much assume she will never get the letter and will need to get it in Juarez? Or I can email the consulate and get some kind of electronic confirmation? based on what I am seeing I should plan for an appointment late in January early February.

Thank you, I called Yesterday and I got my case number plus it is in transit to Juarez so I will wait until next week and email the embassy so they can just email me the letter that way there is no waiting or need to visit the consulate plus I want to ask them if my fiancee can do her Medical in Mexico City since she is originally from there and her father lives there instead of having to stay in Juarez for several days.

I'm a little lost and I'm wondering if maybe somebody here can help me. My fiance and I have seen via the website that our application is ready at Juarez. We did the DS 160. We went to: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/es-mx/nivto try to set up an interview. However when it says what type of visa the applicant is looking for there are many visa options...but no option for K1. Where do I go to schedule an interview? Are we messing up?

Thank you, I was able to get into the immigrant visa section, although I'm a little worried about it. When we tried to use the email we had signed up with it redirected us to the non-immigrant page. Therefore we created a new account using a different email, buuut that email doesn't match the email we have put on everything so far including the DS-160. I'm hoping it doesn't matter that it doesn't match. I'm also wondering if when i get in and it asks for numero expediente if that is the case number from ciudad juarez.
