My wife's and kid's interview next month, what are the usual questions of the interviewer? Are wedding pictures and old bf/gf's pictures enough?

To those who had their interview before, kindly please share some questions that was asked. :)

Do they also interview or ask questions to my 7yo daughter? Because she always tell me that she doesn't wanna come to the estates yet, she is very close to her grandma in the Philippines, and im worried about it on their interview.

If your daughter is yours why does she need a IR-2 isn't she a citizen then?

Because i just filed my citizenship this year, then filed their petition.

Okay :) I don't believe they will ask a 7 year old any questions. Maybe ask in the Philippine forum

A 7 yo will be asked a question or two but nothing that will derail your interview. She maybe asked her name, what does she call her "new daddy". And is she looking forward to her new home. I wouldn't expect much more than that. There is nothing that you can "block" when she says something. Believe me, I am sure the CO's have seen and heard many things. They can tell if something is wrong and a 7 yo that is not looking forward in moving they understand.

Mom, just relax. Make it a fun day with her. Set something up that she would like to do afterwards so her mind is on that "thing you are going to do together" and not on the interview. During the morning when you are waiting, try talking about how much fun you will have after the interview. Take her to the mall. Take her for ice cream. Take her to her favorite eatery.

You'll do fine and so will she.

I brought a few pictures per year that we were physically together especially during early stages of the relationship (we knew each other for 14 yrs and been bf-gf for 13).

I think it helped a lot with regards to the question that is always asked which is how and when did you meet and how long have you been together.

Some of the questions I overheard them asking the kids are just their name and age.
