That wasn't my view as I didn't write the original post. I was just clarifying the math issue.

For further clarification I was confused by the original post turning the much closer 1/2 figure for suicide vs homicide rates into what he wrote which was indeed 2/3 when he played funny with the numbers.

Not specifically to you, lets accept the unspecified year in which 4,000 were killed by gun homicides in the US vs the post 911 terrorist attack figure of 71 deaths and more generously add the world wide American death toll since 911 which is roughly 300 killed including the 71 in the US. (Even disregard the fact that less than half of the 71 deaths was tangentially Muslim related but I am bending over backwards to see the logic of many posts here that Islam is to be so greatly feared.)

4,000 violent gun homicides in a made up year, greatly figured in favor of the guns make you safer crowd vs 300 terrorist attack fatalities in the 14 years here in the US and included in this figure 221 American deaths world wide. One more time, which is a larger concern?

First, where did I say I want a full scale war? Quite a few of us here are trying to prevent such a thing, even though you clearly want to spread fear and panic, some of us are smarter than that?
