So why aren't you scared of gun violence that affects 10000 plus American every year?

Where I am? No.

When I used to live in London, yes.

Why am I just interested in Muricans? Why should they be specially treated?

Here ya go:

A report released Tuesday indicates that deaths from global terrorism totaled 32,658 in 2014, an 80 percent increase from the previous year.

CNN reported that the Global Terrorism Index report details the “dramatic rise” in terrorism over the last 15 years, particularly spotlighting the spike in deaths caused by terrorist attacks and spread of terrorism that occurred in 2014.

Nine times the number of people killed by terrorists worldwide in 2000 are killed today.

Between 2013 and 2014, the number of countries reporting over 500 deaths due to terrorism rose from five to 11. Still, 78 percent of terrorist attacks last year occurred in five countries, namely Pakistan, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq.

In sum, Islamist groups Boko Haram and the Islamic State were responsible for 51 percent of terrorist killings in 2014 worldwide, the report says.

So, why is it, when a person kills people with a gun, folks separate the crazy from the legal gun owners as to not be lumped in with the homicidal maniacs. But in the case of Muslims, no such effort is given? Even though gun violence has claimed more American lives than decades of terrorism?

If we held gun owners to the same standards as Muslims(we should since the numbers are so lopsided it's scary) you and those who carry should be denouncing gun violence every single day.

That's why we say Radical Muslims

So should we call these shooters Radical gun owners? Why not restrict people from owning guns, since we can't tell who's good or bad?

Bloomberg claimed that 95 percent of murders fall into a specific category: male, minority and between the ages of 15 and 25. Cities need to get guns out of this group’s hands and keep them alive, he said.

No No No

That's not who they want to take the guns away from.

Um, you posted an article about legal pot, not gun homicide.

So, once you take the guns from black people in NYC, what about all the other murders that are committed by the non minority? Folks like Lanza, Homes, Roof, Frein. What about the biker gang shootout, or the recent murder of 6 people on a camping site?

The article if you decided to read it also included what I posted . According to Bloomberg you would then drop the firearm death rate by 95 % .. Would you be in favor of a law that said due to the death rate 95 %( Bloomberg's figures ) caused by minorities and gun ownership it would be against the law for possession of any firearm by said minorities (per the article ) until the age of 25. . NY State passed the Sullivan act back in the early 1900's making it illegal for anyone to possess a firearm unless they are granted permission by the state. . That has been enforced for close to 100 years. .... and still stands today So this could be used for a standard ..... Bloomberg is right at the forefront of the anti gun push in this country . He bankrolls 3-4 big antigun organizations . Every anti - gun person quotes the information he puts out. So this 95 % figure must be true. You use his information yourself . (even if you don't realize it) .. So back to the question ...

95% of gun violence in this country (Bloomberg's numbers) is caused by minorities under the age of 25 . would you support a law banning possession of guns by said minorities under the age of 25 .? . Baltimore gun deaths hit 300 this year . Vast majority involve minorities .

You can call them criminals if you like. That's how our system classifies them.

Criminals tend to use guns for revenge, crime, etc

A terrorist uses guns to terrorize. You see, two complete different motives and therefore two different means of resolution. But we're all used to motive being an afterthought.

I think you are missing the big picture

But you right it would be unfair to stero type 1% biker gangs. I am sure they are not all bad people

First off, the 95% figure is off.

https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2013/crime-in-the-u.s.-2013/tables/table-43

According to the FBI, black people make up 52.1 percent while white people make up 45.5 percent. Maybe they have more credible information than Bloomberg, but that's just me. Also,

http://www.statista.com/statistics/476456/mass-shootings-in-the-us-by-shooter-s-race/

Looks like this is more than 5% but hey, it is what it is.

Places like Chicago and such are a tragedy, but to ignore the other shooters because they share the same skin color as you is a disservice to your cause as a responsible gun owner.

Going into a theater and killing folks seems like terrorizing to me.

What big picture? Muslims aren't even 5% of the criminals here in the US, but that doesn't stop people from calling them terrorists when something happens in another country. By lib's logic, if we're going to go off number(even though his are wrong) why are Muslims called terrorists when the stats don't even come close to gun violence by any race?
