Hello, My husband went for his interview this morning. He arrived at 5:30 am and was called around 9am. He had brought a huge binder of chat records, photos, flight receipts etc with him but they asked for nothing!! I have spent at least 6 months out of every year for the last 6 years with him, living in Ghana. I think the face time alone spoke for itself. She didn't even ask to see wedding pictures, pics of me with his family, nothing. And we had not included those in any of the previous packages. She asked him a few basic questions, how did you meet your wife, her age, where do you guys stay in Ghana and where will you be staying when you go to the States, what does she do for work. She pointed to a picture of my husband and my son and asked who is this and he answered her. She then took his passport and left the room. Came back a few mins later with a few sheets of white paper and told him he is approved and showed him where to pick up his PP. Let me give hope to anyone that has doubts about "red flags"......I'm older than my husband, I've been married before, I have children from that previous marriage and because I've been staying so much in Ghana with him for the last 6 years, I've only been working part time and needed a joint sponsor. So believe me, with lots of face time and lots of love...all is possible. Now my question....he is on his way back to Ghana and we will continue to wait here til his Visa is ready. So we'll be stalking the site to know when he should go back to collect it. Can anyone tell me the order in which everything should show and let us know when its ready? Right now it is saying "administrative processing"...what will it say when its ready to be collected? Thanks, as always, for everyone's help...especially Dwheels!!! YOU ROCK!!!

Congratulations that's great. It's been taking anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks to get Visa. But in most cases the usual 7 days is in order.

READY==> AP==> ISSUED

The verbiage for issued says printed. He has the visa center number all he needs to do is call them when t says issued to inquire.

Really happy for you. You did it all to the book right. So happy the interview was effortless. :goofy:

My husband I are waiting too. Ours says Issued since Nov 13th. We're getting anxious to pick it up. He will call and see whether it is ready or he may just go to DHL and see if it's there.

We all need to be sure when they pick up that everything is correct and when they have to be in the US.

congratulations!!! my fiance has his interview tomorrow morning and we are very nervous. I'm here with him in Nigeria. thanks for the update

I thought when it says Issued, that means its ready?? So that's not the case then? Have you called at all since seeing it turn to issued?

Congratulations. You should have your visa soon since it says "AP". I was approved on November 13 for K1 but my case still says "Ready". I was told the visa will be ready in 10days.

Congrats ... i was approved also on Nov 13 , ceac website still says READY , only the status message content has changed on the 17th

Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application.

waiting on more updates as it is 2 business day already.

Once the site says issued it doesnt change again the only step left after issue is to go get your visa. My husband changed to issued on a friday and he picked it up on Tuesday there was no other contact no text no email no change to the web. So if you are at issue go pick up your visa or at minimum call to verify its there. Congratulations
