After interview, wait for visa in Manila?

My fiancee is from Mindinao. We are thinking of waiting in Manila after the interview to personally pick up the visa and passport upon approval. Can you guys comment whether this is advisable or is it better to have them mail everything back to Davao? How long is it expected to take to pick up in Manila vs receiving in Davao? Thanks!

Sorry, no one can accurately predict when you will receive your visa packet. I suggest returning back to Davao and enjoy the few remaining weeks you have with family. Normal processing time is around 2 weeks. Some come sooner, some come later (we have witness months for some).

IF you have the visa package deliver to 2GO Mall of Asia it can be two days quicker. How many days or weeks you would be waiting for the embassy to completing the visa processing is the unknown.

How long are you willing to hang out in Manila?

I think we'd be willing to wait around a week after the interview date. I guess we are unlikely to be able to pick it up a week after?

It's possible, but I wouldn't count on it. I'd go relax in the province.

We hung out in Manila. It was fun to explore Manila, but the time and expense dragged on. Visa took almost 3 weeks. Probably should have gone back to the province.

I got mine exactly 7 days after the interview. I picked it up at 2go Victoria Branch in Davao.
