Now you wait for the EAD/AP and for an interview date to be scheduled. I believe your local field office is Newark, NJ.

The EAD/AP typically arrives in 60-90 days.

USCIS has 90 days from the date of receipt on your I-797 to process the EAD and AP, although that is extended if there are any RFEs. If there is an RFE, processing is paused from the date the RFE is issued until the date on which USCIS receives the requested evidence.

You won't receive the green card until after the interview, and your wife's interview may not be scheduled for several months. According to the USCIS processing times page as of August 31 the Newark office was processing I-485 applications from 1 March 2015, so chances are you won't get an interview date for at least three months, and possibly longer.

Eighteen years in the US and I still don't understand Velveeta, TV ads for prescription drugs, only getting 2 weeks paid vacation, or why anyone believes anything they see on Fox "News".

Hi

In my I 485 form it says the PD is 30th Dec 2014 and filing date as Oct 23rd 2015.

So do I wait till my PD 30th Dec 2014 becomes current for the I485 to be adjudicated or till Newark NJ has dates of Oct 2015 filing ?

Pls advise

Thanks

Anand
