I've never had a problem that I had to call the BBB about, so I can't offer any help that way.

BUT

I saw the funniest thing driving home from work today....there was a guy parked on the side of the road in front of a Toyota dealership. He was driving a truck, and he was sitting in the bed of the truck on a beach chair chillin & gettin the sun. There were three signs poked into the grass...one said 'X Toyota sold me a car that was in a wreck' next one said 'repainted the car & sold it w/no sealer' and the last one said 'they don't return my calls!'

Just thought it was funny & this seems the best place to share it.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

The BBB are relatively impotent in resolution of disputes. The BBB act, principally, as an intermediary in so far as alerting the company that there is a complaint and placing some time constraint on an act towards resolution. The only leverage the BBB has is that it can report publicly on their own website a rating for a company if it is clear that the company aims to do nothing. I view it much like eBay's feedback reporting. One or two complaints don't raise too many eyebrows (you can't always please everyone and there are professional complainants that know how to work the system to get something for nothing) however, a large number of complaints can harm a company reputation. The BBB cannnot and do not intervene, other than to advise that the complaint has been made and to apprise the company to furnish some response through them so that they have an ability to stave off a bad rating. That's all folks!
