hey everyone

i hope all are fine and shine, we just received transferred letter, our case is transferred to Potomac Service center, there is written in the Letter,

Please refer to the USCIS processing dates webpage, Via the USCIS home webpage, HTTP://www.uscis.gov/graphics/index.htm to locate the processing dates for the specific service center that your case was transferred to.

what does this mean? Please explain it if anyone know it,

and another Question is that" is it important to have the USCIS webpage account mean to registrar yourself with them on uscis?

What service center was your petition initially? It is very common at USCIS to transfer cases from overburdened centers to less burdened centers for even distribution of work to avoid delays. I haven't heard any service center by the name of Potomac. USCIS website has given the names of only four service centers ie California, Nebraska, Texas and Vermont. You can check the processing times of these centers on website.

It is not necessary to create an account with USCIS to check the status of your case. You can enter your case# on their website to know the status.
