Thank you in advance for any help!

My husband (Australian) and I (US Citizen) spoke with an immigration attorney and he said he didn't see any issues with our application process so we're choosing to save the $2500 attorney fees and apply ourselves. I read the guidelines for submitting the I-130 and I-485 found on this site (super helpful btw! I wouldn't have thought of a cover letter). I just have a few questions:

1. We are newly married but we lived together in Australia. I have a bank statement with the address on it, that matches his driver's license. Should I submit that with the petition as part of proof of a bona fide marriage?

2. We have photos of the two of us together, as well as countless email conversations archived. Do I submit these things with the petition or do I save it for the interview?

3. When submitting the packet containing all documentation for both the I-130 and I-485, do I make two cover letters or should I make one with one list of everything? And do I submit, for example, a certified copy of our marriage certificate for each form (so two total) or is one for both forms sufficient?

Any other filing tips you might want to share would be greatly appreciated. We're down to the wire on this (we have until December 2 to get this submitted) so it needs to go as smoothly as possible. This has been so stressful. I'll be glad once it's done! Poor guy had his immigration physical today and got his vaccinations updated.

Thanks again!

Lawyers lie but if you're both in the USA and decided to stay now, you can do so. (For instance an internet friend of my husband followed a lawyers advice to plan to AOS and have his wife lie to CBP. We don't know their real names to do anything about it.)

Im going to move your thread to the appropriate forum so you can vet the answers you need since you guys are not chasing a visa. Best of luck.

~~moved to AOS from Work, tourist, and student visas from bringing family members of USCs to the USA~~
