Status finally showing Ready!!

oh ok, I was just trying to get a general idea of how long it will take to get it.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Good day ! I decided to sign up on this site so that I will be enlighten and to at least ease my heart and mind from all of these assumption and worries regarding my status .I had my interview last Dec. 16 2015 , the consul just asked my name, petitioner, if i worked abroad , where does he work etc. We had a very good conversation as if I don't feel that it was an interview. I just submitted all the documents from the NSO like birth certificate, marriage certificate with an annotation of my annulment and a cenomar. At the end of the interview she told me that she thinks that there is no problem with regards to my documents. And told me to go to window number 5 and so i did . The guy there told me that my passport will be delivered in a few days .

As I checked my status last Dec 21 it was updated on Dec 17 , 2015 and it says that it is open. What does that mean? I am not even sure if my visa was approved.

If it is approved how many days should I wait ?

I would really appreciate your comments / opinion regarding these.

Thank you in advance for those who can help me understand all of the things mentioned above.

Sorry about late reply.

I was interviewed on Oct 7th, got approved then went to AP which last for Almost 3 months. Please know that AP is normal and it comes with faith. Don't panic, everything is good. God bless.
