CR1 - Post interview AP upon Visa approval

Hello all,

My wife had an interview yesterday and they didn't ask for no paperwork at all since it was all complete. However, they did ask her allot of questions and in the end the CO smiled and said your visa is approved and you will get your passport in 7-10 business days.

I check the status after 12 hours and it says Administrative Processing.

Any idea?

And no I don't drive Uber.

03/19/2015 - Mailed I-130 package to USCIS
03/23/2015 - NOA1 received, Texas Service Center
07/27/2015 - I-130 approved (I-130 was approved in 126 days from NOA1 date)

NVC
08/03/2015 - NVC received
08/19/2015 - Case number assigned
09/04/2015 - Paid AOS fee

09/04/2015 - Paid IV fee
10/05/2015 - Submitted DS - 260

10/06/2015 - Sent IV and AOS package
10/08/2015 - Scan date
11/09/2015 - Case Complete :)

11/13/2015 - Got Interview Email (P4 Letter)

 

EMBASSY

12/16/2015 - Interview (APPROVED) :)

12/23/2015 - Visa in hand

01/14/2016 - Point of Entry: Abu Dhabi

I have my interview in December .. I received interview letter in email and the document's 2nd page is blank. Is it blank normally or am I missing on something?

USCIS
03/19/2015 - Mailed I-130 package to USCIS

As long as you are able to see when the interview is and also what necessary documents to bring should also be listed on the letter.

I was issued 221g white slip for additional administrative processing at islamabad embassy in CR1 category.VO asked for to wait for one month and gave white slip 221g ticked with additional administrative processing.

This thread you've posted in is 5 month old. Please research in the AP forum. You can read about the many others who are also in AP.

Your case is in AP. No one knows when you will be issued your visa. You just have to wait.
