Hello!

I'm not sure if there's a thread for this topic already but I couldn't find it. -_-

Question regarding the Vaccination requirements of K1 Visa applicants Philippines.

The applicant doesn't have shots/ vaccinations not even a single one since birth. Can't believe it but its for real.

Would this be a problem? Would they give her all the required shots/vaccines on the day of the Medical? If not, does anyone have a list of what shots/vaccines st lukes have/included on the $213.00 medical fee?

I was thinking if st lukes will delay the case just for her to get the shots that st lukes doesn't have "in stock" I'd rather be ahead of time and deal with it now than later.

Help?

My Fiance had no record of immunizations. At the medical they gave here the required injections when she returned to St. Luke's the second day. This was all covered under the medical fee, there were no additional charges.

Relax, what vaccinations are required will be administered by SLEC, if they are missing something it will not stop your fiancee from flying to the states, she can get the missing vaccinations done by the county health clinic.

Do you still remember what shots was given to her the second day? O.o

I was told that sometimes SLEC doesn't have the shots in stock so the applicant needs to go home then call back after a day or a week to see if the shot/vaccine is already available so I figure hey let's ask VJ and see what everyone thinks.. -_- Freaking out man..

I just looked at her vaccination Documentation worksheet (Form 3025). She received Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and Influenza.

Thank you for this. I now just confirmed base on your info that SLEC always gives out the Tdap and mmr. Varicella & Influenza is new to me so I'll keep that in my notes.

Me and my fiancée doesn't want any delay so we both agreed that she will go get checked up. It all happened so quick the doctor immediately gave her MMR and PDT shots and bam! $100 total bill then the Doctor wants her to come back for 9 more shots that costs 2300php to 4500php each shot. This includes what you just said Varicella that will cost 2200php and Influenza 2300php.

Glad I asked. Seems like this doctor just wants to take advantage. Smh..

Anyone else who wants to share their form 3025?

Not so normally. If SLEC are missing a vaccination, SLEC does offer to administer it later if they come back, but that is not required. You can get any missing vaccinations once in the states.

They are instructed by the CDC[uSA Applicants] on what shots an individual will receive, based on age. At age 19+ I believe the shots are the same.

Bring any prior vac record with you.

The cost is included in the initial payment on day 1.

They are given on the 2nd day of your medical, when you finish at the end of your last day, you will leave with a CD & your vaccination record sheet.

You will need the Vac record for AOS and possibly when you apply for USA Citizenship in 3-5yrs as a permanent resident in the USA...

At the medical exam all the necessary shots and test will be administered for one fee. It's the best BANG for our buck that you can spend. Hank provided a flow chart so you know the steps along the way. She will get ALL the necessary shots that is needed to immigrate. If they are out of the a particular shot, you can return and get it administered before she departs. If not, then she can get them after she arrives in the States. The local county medical will administer any missing shots for a reduced cost, or if she gets on any insurance, they can be covered that way.

Read more about the SLEC experience here and also, be prepared and understand what is required for the AOS after marriage.

Flu season is from 01 Oct - 31Mar [uSA], so mistake on their part on the Influenza shot.

Sounds like you got a temp waiver for the unavailable shots, but will most likely have to follow up and receive them sometime later after arriving at designated country.

I would check into being able to get the missing shots later at no cost, since they were paid for initially.

She will leave in two weeks. Will follow up here when she decides what doctor will be her primary.
