I had my AOS interview today with my wife in Dallas Texas. They asked us simple questions which we all answered.

The IO then handed me with a piece of paper saying my interview is held for further review.. The letter said I should wait at least 120 days before I can inquire about my case.. Should I be worried??

Was the IO satisfied with the amount of bona fide marriage evidence you brought? What did you bring? What did they ask?

If there are no red flags, and you brought enough evidence, you shouldn't be worried, they will probably update your status long before the 120 days are done.

I went for our aos interview on 14th October we were given a paper to sign about d terms of removal of conditional after explaining d terms of conditional gc. He also gave us a paper to submit more documents before 30days which we did d very next day. 30days has passed last week since my interview yet no welcome letter or gc. My case was updated few hours after d interview that we completed d interview but case must be reviewed. Am tired of waiting but have no choice since I have to wait. Will appreciate if anyone can give a hint to what is keeping my gc.

On October 5 had my AOS interview in San Francisco and I got the letter also and got approved 2 weeks after.

When I went for my AOS interview the interview itself lasted a matter of minutes then the IO printed off a piece of paper congratulating me on getting my green card. The green card itself arrived in the mail around 10 days later. Im sure everyone's experiences at an AOS interview are different. I wouldn't try to worry too much. Has anyone else here experienced the same response at an AOS interview?

Based on what you've said, there's absolutely no reason for you to be worried. Not every IO has the authority to approve cases directly; many have to write up a report of the interview and their recommendation for approval/denial, then pass the file to their supervisor for review and sign-off.

As a reference point for you, here's our timeline from earlier this year (Baltimore office) We were interviewed on August 28th and told that the IO would be recommending us for approval. We were also told that we would hear within 120 days, but our attorney told us that he'd contact USCIS if we hadn't heard from them within a month or so. Our case status didn't change online until 9/9, when it updated to card/document production. The following day it updated again, saying that the welcome notice had been mailed, and my GC was mailed on 9/15.

Eighteen years in the US and I still don't understand Velveeta, TV ads for prescription drugs, only getting 2 weeks paid vacation, or why anyone believes anything they see on Fox "News".
