Hi, I am adjusting from a tourist visa as well. My EAD card arrived today, maybe you could try calling USCIS about your biometrics appointment. Because we have similar timelines but I had my biometrics done last December. Good luck.

Hi blessedbeyond

Congratulations for you again that you have received your EAD card now.

Today I have received this status:

On February 3, 2016, we mailed your new card to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by March 4, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you.

Will I receive another notice about USPS picks up my card and the tracking number? I'm a bit confused they said they MAILED but didn't give me any tracking number or maybe I have to wait a bit longer to the update of USPS picks up.

Thanks

Hi ttram312

Maybe you may try this www.uscis.gov/e-request, but normally as I read on the internet and talked with people who were in these processes. They said around 45 days from your fingerprint day. Mine is exactly in that timeline. 30 days from submitted the forms then got fingerprint. 45 days from fingerprint then got approved for EAD card. Some people got their cases very fast, but also some got very slow. Mine is still in the normal timeline (from what I observed).

Cheers!

I just had my interview. Me and my husband were separated the moment we walked in. I went in first. It lasted for 40mins. She was pounding me with questions. I'll go into detail later on. My husbands interview only lasted 10mins. He didn't get asked much questions. She said she'll review our case and let's waiting 90 days. She didn't take my i94 or give me any letter. Am worried.

It's the same wording as in the email they sent to me on USCIS account. Anyway, I feel better now that the will send me another email when USPS picks up my card and get the tracking number. I experience some mistakes from the postmen that sent to the wrong houses often. With the tracking number that would help me check the status of my card.

Thanks!
