F1 - visa wrong annotation

Hi everyone,

I received my F1 visa but I noticed two things which seem to be odd:

1. The expiry date of the visa is almost 1 month before "End Date" mentioned on my I-20. I read online that the expiry date is refers to the last date I can go back to US, and it does not determine how long I can stay there. Is that true?

2. Under the annotation section of my visa, I realized the branch name of the school is missing. Here is how it looks on my visa and I-20:

I-20 (School Name):

California State University

California State University, SCHOOL_NAME

Annotation on visa:

California State University

Is this OK?

I contacted the embassy for this and I am waiting for their reply, but I was wondering if you guys faced a similar issue. I need to make the necessary preparation ASAP and I am not sure if this would be a problem or not.

Cheers
