Hi

We're currently applying for myself and my daughter to come to the US (K1/K3) and I'm wanting to find out all I can ahead of time. Can someone tell me what information needs to be provided to the US Consulate in Sydney regarding my daughter? I imagine something from her Father would be required? Some specific information on this would be a huge help.

Thank you

L

You daughter is a K-2 :) You are required to bring a notarized letter where the father gives provision for you to bring you daughter permanently to the US.

You also need her birth certificate and passport pictures and of course she needs her own medical.

You may want to ask in the forum for Australia for more specific details of that embassy :)

The K-2 will also need their own DS-160 and visa processing fee. They basically have the same requirements to apply for the K-2 as you do for the K-1. The instructions you get from your consulate should mention they are for applying for a K-1/K-2.
