Refugee or Terrorist?

I don't think we should ever close our doors to refugees. I do believe we should carefully screen them. I do not believe Europe is doing this and that is putting Europe in a vulnerable position.

As to the US -Most Muslims in the US are an asset to the communities they live and work in. Most of them don't want to live in a Muslim country or under Islamic law. The US does have radical, vocal Muslims and I do not believe that even a word of violent rhetoric or any rhetoric meant to incite violence should be tolerated or acceptable and those who are proponents of religious intolerance or religious violence should be removed.

Most Muslims accept our laws and legal systems however some do not. I do not believe that someone should be allowed to come and stay who is not willing to follow our laws or respect our legal system because those are the fundamental things that made our country a good place to stay in the first place.

Just one opinion.

I agree, and we have that luxury. The risks are minimal to none.

Well, we don't know that.

It could be 0, it could be 50 and it could be 5,000+.

We won't know for a long time.

I don't believe that even one life should be "sacrificed". Every effort should be made so that that does not happen.

You can let families with children in, after a thorough examination, but single dudes should be subject to even more scrutiny.

I'm not sure why people are against the refugees. We should extend liberty to them even't if there are small risks associated with their arrivals. Thats who we are as a country. If anything, support the refugees because it will piss ISIS off. Or do you think the Syrian passport found was a lone terrorist's mistake? Please...it was attempt to turn countries against the refugees.

It was left for a reason. The terrorist didn't just forget it there.

If you know what ISIS' goals are, then it's straight forward to put together why they attacked Paris, why they attacked Turkey, why they took down a Russian jet, and why they are trying to make countries fear letting in any refugee's.

ISIS is brutal, evil and capable of horrendous acts. Don't mistake them for being stupid.

And because of all those reasons above, I am fairly certain that ISIS will do whatever it takes to get into America, and do some of the same nastiness they did in France, Turkey, 9/11, the ME, et. al. To include stealing/forging passports to gain illegal entry.

silly to even attempt to blame the consequences of our military actions on a political party. 9/11 happened and we, as a country, knee jerked ourselves into a royal cf. damn right it's bush's fault. and damn right it's obama's fault. but more than either potus, i remember pretty vividly how folks were saying we should just obliterate ME off the map. the people that have had the extreme misfortune of being born into this nightmare overseas, have never- by my recollection-had the sympathy of the united states. they've always been viewed as necessary collateral damage.

also sucks that in 15 years america still hasn't learned anything about combating terrorism. you can't fight fear with fear. or violence with violence. i mean you can but, don't expect an end to it.
