My girlfriend says the same thing. Thankfully my wife doesn't think I'm a jerk. I'm batting .500.

After making such a remark as you did, I seriously doubt you have any women in your life, let alone two. How sexist of you. Reported.

Wow easy on the personal attacks. Is that you AJ?

Not sure what you are on about. There is no one by the name of AJ here that I have seen.

I'm not sure why people are against the refugees. We should extend liberty to them even't if there are small risks associated with their arrivals. Thats who we are as a country. If anything, support the refugees because it will piss ISIS off. Or do you think the Syrian passport found was a lone terrorist's mistake? Please...it was attempt to turn countries against the refugees.

These terrorists always seem to do a good job of finding weaknesses. See the 9/11 with the student visas and the box cutters. This refugee crisis is a perfect way to get in to Europe and possibly the U.S. New York, London, Madrid, Paris, on and on and on. Trying to make them our "friends" clearly hasn't worked.

So what? Is it not worth giving 100,000 a home and the loss of 20 or 100, or 500? Thats assuming they are even capable of killing 1 person in the US.

I covered that earlier in the thread!

From the demographics it appears we are training the wrong gender for combat, perhaps we should train the children and women since most of the men are saving themselves and running. That is kinda backwards from the way most westerners operate ie; women and children first in lifeboats, life-preservers etc...

Education is what you get from reading the small print. Experience is what you get from not reading it.

So let me understand. we should let them in, even though its a admitted risk, because it makes you feel good about who we are.

We are also not supposed to use terms like radical Muslims, say anything negative about Islam in anyway, because it would anger them and help them recruit. Yet we should let in the potential terrorist, because it would make ISIS mad.

No folks that is safe zone, politically correct, liberal logic hoarse poo poo right there.

It's not just the loss of 20 or 100. Hell cigarettes probably kill 50 times that in a day. it's the loss of security. It's the loss of confidence in the economy. It's not just the loss of human life. It's having to take off your shoes when you go to the airport. It's all kinds of things that aren't measurable in numbers of lives.

Since when does the United States make large scale decisions over the lives of a handful of people (at most). If we are going to do that now, we are cowards.

I don't think we should ever close our doors to refugees. I do believe we should carefully screen them. I do not believe Europe is doing this and that is putting Europe in a vulnerable position.

As to the US -Most Muslims in the US are an asset to the communities they live and work in. Most of them don't want to live in a Muslim country or under Islamic law. The US does have radical, vocal Muslims and I do not believe that even a word of violent rhetoric or any rhetoric meant to incite violence should be tolerated or acceptable and those who are proponents of religious intolerance or religious violence should be removed.

Most Muslims accept our laws and legal systems however some do not. I do not believe that someone should be allowed to come and stay who is not willing to follow our laws or respect our legal system because those are the fundamental things that made our country a good place to stay in the first place.

Just one opinion. Does not apply to fellow citizens, does apply to visitors and guests.
