Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Nah, that's alright. I figured it was more off-topic, but at any rate, I got my answer. Much ado about nothing, so I won't worry.

M&M Mars, the makers of M&Ms, Mars bars, Fancy Feast and Kal Kan, also make Uncle Ben's rice.

While I wouldn't say that not eating rice will make a person light-headed, the change in diet is not a minor issue.

It was always difficult for me to understand the importance of rice. When she first got here, we could eat a huge amount of food at dinner time. And it really didn't matter what the food was. It could be steak, burgers, pizza, etc. but to her, it wasn't a meal if it didn't have rice. Her whole life, every meal had rice. In fact, rice was the main part of every meal. It is very easy to over look what a major change this is when coming here.

My wife now seldom eats rice. But there are some who tend to stay with an almost totally Filipino diet after they get here. It depends on each person. But don't discount what an important change this is when coming here.

Good luck.
