"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Believe it or not there is actually not one McDonald's in the country of Belize. I was kinda surprised to see this since I thought they really were taking over the world. There is only one American food chain and that is Subway and it's only been there for a short while. Everyone's hoping it sticks

WOW McSpaghetti! Interesting! I had beer on the McD's @ Madrid, but that's not a rare thing in Europe. :P

I don't remember any difference on McD's menu @ Puerto Rico but on Burger King they serve espresso + latte, local desserts and fried plantains. On KFC rice + beans as a side. Yum I am getting hungry!

Olga's biggest problem with the US is the fact that there are McDonald's everywhere! In Russia during my visit to her we ate at Mag burger and Pizza (Маг бургр & пицца), it was interestingly different, but no McDonald's in that part of Russia that I could tell.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

They have a new one in PI. McRice burger. It's rice cakes instead of a bun.

They have that in Hong Kong, too.

I recall there was some kind of curry/chicken tikka burger in the UK for a short trial? Maybe in the early '90s? The ads for it were hilarious.

Well, KFC and Taco Bell are both under same ownership--so no surprise that TB items would show up @ KFC.

Bosnia does not have any fast food (international) places. No McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, KFC, Subway... There is a Burger King on the base but locals do not have access to it.

There are small shops where you can get the local version of fast food - cevapcici and sudjuke are the main ones. Pretty much Bosnian cuisine is meat-based which could be a bit troubling for vegetarians...
