Amna can you please let us know whenever you receive the call to pick up ur passport. I just want to know how many days they take to deliver passport after approval.

Thankyou

If you are picking up your passport in ISB, then it will be available a day or two after it is issued. If you are having your passport couriered to another city, then it will take longer.

the CO just took 1 minute interview and it seemed as if he already had determined to approve me. Im sure you already know all the scene of getting into the shuttle and then in to the embassyy so wont go in tht detail i reached interview area at 7.35am ... i was given a token.. then had to wait veryyyyyyyyy long for finger prints..it was a pretty long line! At the first window, i was asked to do all 10 finger prints.. they already had my US style photo graphs so i didnt need to give them. Next i was waiting for my number to be called again to go to 2nd window..there he took my original docs (urdu nikkah nama + birth certificate), my passport and the sealed medical report envelope. There i also handed him my husbands citizenship certificate and blue passport copy. He asked me my contact number and i selected english language for the interview.. then i had to wait some more for the interviewthat time was reallllly killing! finally my token number was called out and i went to the window.. A really nice american man was there, he had very light brown hair and beard..i was already noticing him tht he was really polite with others. So i got himm thankfully. Here are the questions:

CO: Hey how are you?

me: hey Im good, how are you??

CO: Good

*he was just looking at a pile of papers that we had submitted him in the NVC stage, and he was just going thru all tht quickly, not looking at me..and typing something in the computer..finally he asks me:

CO: What does your husband do in usa?

(I answered)

*stilll looking down in the docs and continuously ticking stuff with red pen*

CO: Okay, and when was the last time you met him?

me: the last time was actually when he came here for the wedding, that is 2013

CO: Please take your original documents back

me: okay thanks...

CO: OkayIm approving your visa, you can collect ur passport from AMEX in 10 days.

me: thank you!!!

CO: Have a nice day, byee

me: thts it??

CO: Ya ure donee!

When done from the interview, i checked the time it was 10am. I took loads of ongoing relationship proof with me..lots of pictures of us together..wedding pics..viber n skype logs..gift receipts etc but Alhamdulilah not a single proof or picture was asked from me. I was extremely nervous abt the fact tht my husband didnt visit since our wedding in 2013 but tht was not even an issue for the CO. You just have to go up there and speak confidently and keep urself normal. Good luck to all of you

Congrats to All who already got visa.

My case completed at NVC on 12/30/15, how long it takes to get interview date after case completed?

From this stage you have to wait for round about 2 weeks, in which you would be receiving case complete email, that you might get this week, or you can also directly get the interview letter too (P4).

I pray for you that you get done with is in short time period. Best of luck :)

Hello everyone,

My fiancé had his interview on December 16. The CO told him that he was approved and that he would have his visa in 10 business days. We were pretty excited :) .

On December 17, his case changed from immigrant to nonimmigrant on the CEAC website, all the while saying "ready". On December 21, his status changed from "ready" to "administrative processing". Neither the status nor the date has changed since. Does anyone have any similar experiences? Thanks!
