All depends on the details of the divorce decree. When you are free again, ask for a copy, scan it, and post it in your topic; then we can vette all for you.

A man was married with two kids. He got separated. He was doing so well financially until he filed he got divorced. He didn't use a lawyer for the divorced but he ended up having financial issues. He filed the divorce online and was finalized.

So, how else can divorce get you broke if you didn't use a lawyer and have a steady paycheck earning almost 10k per month?

But the op not make any pointed report on that, indicating a lack of the attempt. Why no attempt? SERIOUSLY?

Any court record may be filed "Under seal".......

Hi Darnell,

How do you find the decree? It isn't for me. I was never divorced nor my husband. It is for someone I know who have been sharing her feelings about all the situation. She didn't wanna give me the name of the husband and I don't have the name of the ex-wife either. But if I can give her the info on how to find that and search more for it, it might make her feel better and understand why all the money issues now. I have posted about her situation before for her and that's how we knew that he can file the divorce online.

You'll need to know:

1. The name of the defendent or petitioner

2. The name of the state and county where the decree was granted.

Then use the google, search terms '<<county name>> <<state name>> divorce'

Usually you'll need to set up a free account to download the pdf'd version of the decree on that online county records system.
