Received NOA2!!

Hello VJ Community!

Happy to report that I have received my NOA2 today in the mail =)

However, I do have a couple of questions. It says on the form that the Approval Notice is Valid from 11/5/15 until 3/4/16. The petition has been forwarded

to the consulate in Lima, Peru. I thought the application goes to the NVC first, and then gets forwarded onto the consulate afterwards. Or does this mean that

the NVC has already reviewed my application and sent it on? If so, that would be very fast!

Anyway, does the 4 month period listed on my form mean that I have until March 4th of next year to get my Fiancé from Peru? I should probably just call the

customer service center for USCIS and see what they have to say. Or should I contact the US consulate in Lima? Any information would be helpful, thank you!

It does go to the NVC first to be assigned a case number.
