Hi

Can anyone help me in guiding which government document can be used to prove family ties in Pakistan for proving that they are leaving behind their unmarried children?

My siblings have NADRA Birth Certificate issue by Union Council; but NADRA CNIC is taking time to get prepared. So can we submit Nadra Birth Certificate (Govt. document issue by Union Council) to US embassy in Islamabad for my parents visit visa?

thanks

Leaving children behind means nothing as far as ties. My wife (then gf) wanted to visit the US before we applied for fiancée visa but they denied her twice, even though she would come alone leaving her 8 kids behind.

Got it. Then what kind of family ties she can prove? Being a housewife and its a cultural thing in Pakistan, to be a housewife with no name on any property or having any bank account.

I shall sponsor/fund my mother's trip, as my parents cant afford US visit. And many children in US from Pakistan and India do that regularly. Its a cultural thing to support parents these countries. So what sort of social ties can be proved here?

Ideas:

National Id card/ passport of my father

mother's passport mentioning mom's married status and husbands name

College certificate of my unmarried student sister

Her Birth Certificate from a government body, showing both parents names and details.

Any feedback plz?

Ok then what are " Really Ties" plz?

Google "strong ties to home country." There are many different lists of strong ties.

We do not know your mother, so we can't tell you what on the many different lists of strong ties may apply to her.

This is a do-it-yourself website. We can point you to information and where you can find answers. Some information may apply to your mother while others may not. That is up to you to determine based on your knowledge of your mother's situation.

There was a very recent long thread about a mother immigrating and leaving a 11 year old behind.

Her ties, her reason to return are whatever they are, not something you can invent.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
