Hello Everyone,

I'm going to be traveling from El Paso Airport to Ciudad Juarez. So I need some suggestions on the easiest way to travel from ELP to CDJ. First time there, so please I would like some suggestions. (I have found some taxi cab companies below $50) but would like see other options. Also I've seen other shuttle services that charge $60.00. Is CDJ safe enough to cross so I can just grab a Taxi. I speak Spanish so language barrier isn a problem. Just want to be able to get around, save some money and see my options. Thank you!

Also, are Ciudad Juarez Taxis safe?

Thanks in Advance.

Hey thebuv! Border Cab I think was the cheapest option in El Paso from my experience (I'm from El Paso originally), however, I think Uber might be your cheapest option if there are cars available at the time you fly in.

There are multiple bridges to cross into Juarez from El Paso, but the Bridge of the Americas is usually faster. Once crossed, you can grab a cab at the border and I believe the consulate should be a short drive off of 45.

The cabs I've taken in Juarez seemed to be fairly average for Mexico's standards. Use your best judgement of the cars and your surroundings.

Also, something that I've noticed, depending on your cell carrier, you still might have service at least a few miles within the border. I've gone 15 minutes in and still had signal with Verizon, and didn't hit roaming until I got close to the airport (about 30 min into Juarez.) I know I always felt a little skittish not having cell service in Mexico, just don't whip out your phone in the middle of the street :)

Hope this helps!
