Wrapping Up + Power of Attorney Advice?

Hi, my fiance was approved for his K1 visa and is now starting to wrap up his affairs in Israel. He should be receiving his physical visa within the next week (it says "Issued"), and once he has it wants to leave in about 30-40 days.

Does anyone have advice (may or may not be Israel-specific) about the best way to wrap up finances, power of attorney, etc.

He wants to have a general power of attorney done so that his mom can help with anything that needs further attention after he moves to the U.S.

Any advice or sources you can point us towards would be so helpful! Thank you.

@Boiler - he has an existing loan that he intends to pay so that he can return and visit as needed. The power of attorney would be for his mom to handle something in case any matters arose.

@Pitaya - He will need to sign a power of attorney form with his mother in the presence of an attorney.

I have all sorts of things and have been in the US a long time but can comfortable handle things by phone, internet banking etc etc.

I would have thought Israel would be similar.
